This past September, as part of National Preparedness month, READYColorado launched the “Faces of READY” campaign to raise Coloradans’ awareness and action towards disaster readiness.
We get that readiness isn’t a “one size fits all” situation. There are small steps, medium steps, and big steps people take on the road to readiness. Sometimes, getting prepared seems like an impossible task. Have your learned some ways that have made it easier for you? Have you been involved in a disaster and learned something valuable that may help someone else?
This is your chance to share what readiness looks like. We’d love to include your video as part of our Faces of Ready campaign. It doesn’t have to be an academy award winning presentation. Just share your tips and your lessons learned so that someone else might be prepared when an unexpected crisis happens in their life.
