- Use a “mini” video camera like a flip camera, digital camera with video capture, or a smart phone to record your video.
- Make sure you or the person(s) you are videotaping complete an “Authorization and Release” form. Download the form.
- Make your video! Videos can be a short of 30 seconds or up to 3 minutes long—whatever it takes to get the message across. Think “sound bites” that can be edited together to make the complete story. Take a look at our “Conversation Starters” for story ideas.
- Upload your video.
Here are a few items to review before you continue.
- You must have a signed “Authorization and Release” form for each person featured in your video.
- Scan the forms so they are ready to upload when you upload your video.
- If you have more than one video, please fill out an entry for each one.
- Accepted formats:MP4 (recommended), MPEG, MPG, MOV, AVI, or WMV. 500MB file size limit.
